BioLite is the designer and developer of the CampStove 2, which provides a user-focused upgrade to our award-winning CampStove, offering 50 percent more power, an integrated battery, and an updated LED dashboard for improved control and feedback. The CampStove 2 burns renewable biomass (e.g. twigs, sticks, and pellets) to create a smokeless fire that can cook meals and boil water in minutes while turning its heat into usable electricity. The heat of the cooking fire is converted via a thermoelectric generator into three watts of electricity, which powers a fan and flows to a USB port to charge electronic devices off-grid. Excess power is stored in the on-board 2600mAh battery. The internal fan injects air back into the stove's burn chamber, dramatically improving combustion and creating a cleaner, more efficient gas-like flame. The updated LED battery provides users with instant feedback on the heat of the fire, the speed of the airflow, and the power available to charge devices.
